For thousands of years people have traveled to sacred sites, holy places and temples of worship, yet nothing was ever there to be found. The stories are beautiful, the magic still hangs in the air, and the illusion of these places is still fed by our imagination, by our prayers and hope.

The holiest place, however, is not a temple or a church, but a relationship. – Dr. Dragos (Click to Tweet!)

When people meet in love and truth, there is the Spirit of God among them. When people recognize the Holy child in the other, there is their Heavenly Father watching them in Love. The holiest place on Earth is our relationship with one another. Me and You. The holy ground you stand upon now is holy because of you and your brother and sister who bless it with your innocence and love. As written in A Course in Miracles: “The holiest of all the spots on Earth is where an ancient hatred has become a present Love.

In the holiest place on Earth – our relationships with one another – we discover or renounce our power, we find or give away our inner peace and regain or lose what we are. The way we choose to step into the holiest place on Earth opens the door to Love or to fear, to power or to nightmares, and it all depends on what we see in the other.

Where All Power and Love Comes From

There is a common idea going around these days that the mind is the greatest power in the world. If this concept were really understood, we would just think our way to health, abundance, happiness and a perfect life. But you know very well this does not happen so easily and all the time. Here’s why:

(1) All power comes from God. God is Love (John 4:8) and therefore all Power is Love.

(2) When your mind is the servant of love, you unleash the power of Heaven in your life. The mind moves the mountains only when it is aligned with the power of Love because when you act in Love, God backs you up. When you think and act opposite to love, you find yourself powerless and life becomes a frightening nightmare. Love is the greatest power in the world and the only one. The mind in the service of Love is the power of all creation.

Where All Fear Comes From

Have you ever judged another? Thinking without love against other people is the root of all fear. When we judge another person for whatever reason (even when we believe to be justified), when we consider and behave with other people as if they somehow are less than, not good enough, uglier, not-so-smart, not worthy of our love, not deserving of our attention, we hold a hidden hate towards a child whom God loves as is without conditions.

Every human being, in the secret of their heart, wants to know they are loved by their Heavenly Father, including you. Every human being, whether they know it or not, they are loved by their Heavenly Father, including you. When you attack another whom God would heal, when you judge and condemn another whom God forgives, when you hate another whom God loves without condition, then you and God have opposing wills. When you think with God, you think with Love, and you are doing the will of your Heavenly Parent. All fear goes away and you find power, inner peace and healing. When you judge, you think opposite to God and logic implies what else can you find but fear? Thinking without love against people is the root of all fear.

Even if you don’t believe you have a Heavenly Parent, you still experience fear when you harbour loveless thoughts in the dark corners of your mind about another human being, simply because your preference for how reality ought to be and your ideas about people doesn’t change the truth that we are all the children of God. When we act against love, we hurt ourselves. Don’t take this lightly.
