Pierre Alex Jeanty is a 23 year old Haitian-American striving to make a change in this world. He is the founder of Lifedictionary. Recognizing the power of words, Pierre launched LifeDictionary in the hopes that anyone seeking wisdom or reflection could do so easily and effortlessly. LifeDictionary was created to empower, motivate and uplift. By helping individuals reflect on who they are and helping them become who they want to be, LifeDictionary’s mission is straightforward – to become a personal tool for those who are ready to change. The goal is to inspire people’s hearts and minds, giving them the courage, strength and wisdom to become better versions of themselves. Although LifeDictionary originated as a spiritual platform, the site is dedicated to providing assistance to anyone and everyone who is ready to begin the journey of self-improvement.
There are many reasons why individuals choose to change the course of their lives. For Pierre Jeanty, it was traveling to Haiti and recognizing that violence and poverty did not have to write his future. He reevaluated his resources, his talents, his struggles and his motivations and became determined to make choices that would benefit him. He no longer allowed himself to be passive, accepting the consequences of life as a follower and non-believer.
There are many people who face trauma and do not experience the transformation of thought that Jeanty did. It is exactly for this reason that LifeDictionary is now Jeanty’s passion. He has witnessed too many friends and peers who have taken the opposite road when faced with hardship. Every step in life is a choice and LifeDictionary can help frame those choices as positive experiences instead of tragic consequences.
