My father introduced me to meditation when I was ten years old. Though I didn’t realize it for many years, growing up with this gift of meditation at my fingertips gave me an incredible foundation for life. When practicedclarity, vision, and inner peace flood in to make everyday life easier and more manageable.

At forty, I have learned that life is much more joyful when we live from the inside out rather than the outside in—trust me, I have spent many years living from the outside in. I still have to consistently remind myself to live inward, especially in the face of trials, otherwise it’s very easy to get distracted or look to the outside world for quick but false solutions.

One of the master teachers of living from the inside out is Deepak Chopra, whom I had the pleasure of spending some time with on Oprah’s Lifeclass Tour. Since as far back as I can remember, my parents have read most of his books and went to several of his courses. I started getting into his works and teachings as a teenager and it always felt like he was a part of my family. I have a deep respect for Deepak’s teachings and have carried them into my adult life.

All that said, now you’ll understand what I mean when I tell you that a dream is definitely coming true for me today.

At 10:30 a.m. PST / 1:30 p.m. EST, I will be a guest for a live discussion with Deepak, Gotham, and Mallika Chopra, alongside other inspiring and influential individuals—author Paulo Coelho (“The Alchemist”), journalist Lisa Ling, Mexico’s former president Vicente Fox, actress Fran Drescher and yoga instructor Eddie Stern.

To kick off the launch of the premium YouTube channel, The Chopra Well, and the Chopra Center’s 21-Day Meditation, we’ll gather to have a conversation that is sure to challenge everyone who joins in: the role of personal transformation for global transformation.

I’d love nothing more than for the Positively Positive community to join in on this opportunity for personal transformation and global boundary breaking. We’ll grow stronger together and be able to bring even more positive impact into the world around us. You can find all the details HERE.

I am fully on board for all that the Chopra Family is striving for through social connectedness: the chance to transform the world that we live in for our children and generations to come. It’s so aligned with what we are doing at Positively Positive that we’ve welcomed Mallika Chopra and her website into the folds of our internet family and we’ll be hanging out on her Intent Blog too! Exciting things ahead…

I hope you’ll join for the start of it! I’ve included some Tweetables and Facebook posts below in case you want to spread the word with me.
