Many of you are going full throttle: Great ideas and intentions to make 2013 ah-mazing. However, how many of you, when thinking about losing weight, eating healthier, gaining control of your finances, taking a daily tech break—whatever your resolution may be—follow the statement of what you want to resolve to do with, “but it’s just so hard?”

When asked how 2012 treated you or how you hope 2013 will be, do you respond with some version of how difficult it all is? Really stop and think.

Does your automatic response include how hard, difficult, challenging, etc. it all is?

When you continually say things are hard, stressful, or exhausting, you are affirming and manifesting this as your continued reality. You are affirming exactly what you do not want!

What do you think would happen if you rocked some present moment consciousness in your conversations and stopped affirming the negative?

When you change your language, you change your mind and your energetic vibration. If you start to say you have no doubt things will fall into place or that divine order is happening in this experience right now, you raise your vibration and your experience will start to shift.

Just a simple example:

Have you ever noticed that when you are in a bad mood, everything that can go wrong seemingly does? Someone cuts you off in traffic. Your boss seems to blame you for low sales figures. You and your spouse argue. However, when you feel good and peaceful, all just flows with ease? The traffic jam is a chance to take a little breather between work and home. The sales clerk gives you the discount even though you didn’t have a coupon. Strangers smile at you as you pass.

So, I have a challenge for you. For ONE FULL WEEK (yes, an entire seven days): no affirming it’s hard, but instead affirming it’s getting better. Get present and turn off the autopilot conversation button and try on this new language. See what happens. Does this shift in language change the way you view accomplishing your resolutions? If so, how?

I am interested to hear if you take the challenge and what shift you notice when you do.
