Dream big enough so that you feel fear. That’s a god(dess) sized dream. @CosmicChristine

When I sit down sometimes, usually on my bed before I go to sleep or early in the morning, when it’s just me and the sound of the birds chirping, I dig deep into my soul. I find that the best times for this are late at night between 12am-3am and early during sunrise. It’s these quiet moments where earth and spirit are close enough to feel it. The city quiets down, and it’s you and nature.

It’s then that I dare myself to ask myself those BIG questions. Questions like…

What am I avoiding looking at?
Where am I feeling constriction?
How am I being called to grow?

I look at all areas of my life – love, money, career, friendships, self-care, travel – all of it. Then I ask myself, what is my true God/Goddess-sized dream? What is it? No holding back. OWN IT – I tell myself.

I usually feel a mix of feeling proud of myself for daring to sit and ask myself valuable questions and a fear to have to face the truth.

It’s a feeling that I feel in the pit of my stomach and sometimes my throat, and always my heart. It’s tight; it’s a feeling of trying to expand. It’s uncomfortable. It feels right, but it hurts. It’s change. It’s growth. And it’s like it breaks a piece of the ego off, and stings. But the light heals it, and expands your vessel even wider. It allows for more of the good stuff to come in. Although the process is messy, it’s worth it.

In daring to reveal my truest desires, I give myself permission to make the shifts necessary to live my truest desires. This requires courage and letting go of what no longer fit’s in. It requires change. It’s the nature of destruction and rebirth. It’s like the phoenix rising from the ashes. The night and the sunrise. Your old self blossoming into the new self.

Some of my God-sized dreams include:

  • Traveling to Puerto Rico and California often, India, Arizona, Costa Rica, and Arizona and maybe Mexico too this coming 2015!
  • Working with the United Nations on merging therapy and mindfulness/spirituality to create global change in at risk and marginalized communities.
  • Working with the government in creating curriculum to bring mindfulness to schools.
  • A beautiful ‘lil familia of my own.
  • And a gorgeous happy home and decor, that I own!

So now I ask you, what are your God-sized dreams? Dare to own them. Be bold. Dream until it feels scary. Then own those wild and amazing soul desires and dreams. Feel free to list them in the comments below and let’s celebrate them together. Looking forward to reading them all!

Sending Soul Love,
Christine
