Last night, I stumbled upon a question and instantly fell in love with it – knowing everyone needs to ask themselves:

What would your life be like if you made $500/hr?

It was my destiny perhaps, or more likely an innate tenacious attitude that has ensured I made $500/hr. Actually, I’ve been doing so since I was twenty-six, as an unhappy lawyer, then later as a stressed out yoga teacher, and now I make more, am more happy and have learned that it was nothing to do with money, AND everything to do with money.

What am I talking about?

I had it all, and nothing at the same time.

It was my mindset. It always is. I have it all even when I don’t – cash in the bank is only part of it. I had to get really sick and stressed to make drastic career changes, but you know what? It was my mindset, and I valued myself to make the money, but my mindset didn’t allow for me to be happy about it.

So, how can you have it all? And, what does that mean to you? If you made $500/hr would that be enough? Are you worth that much an hour? The answer has got to be YES. But, it’s sometimes a journey to get to your YES!

My life mission now is to help women shift into the mindset they can get and deserve financial freedom AND balance.

I’m helping create today’s new business leaders with the idea having it all (or enough) is about a mindset and not about materials.

I’ve had to get really sick, and tired of busting, hustling and breaking my heart to realize that making and appreciating $500/hr is ALL about a mindset of self-worth. Sure, skill set. You gotta be good. But, all the talent doesn’t do a dime if you’re caught in a mindset trap of it’s not enough, OR, ‘who ME? No, I’d never make that.”.

While you know my work is not gender specific, I’m a proud advocate for Moms, and our rights to make as much as we desire and to raise our families having never to be worried about if we can afford it.

Here’s how:

Identify your Mind Traps. They sound like this: “Yeah, if only…,” or “How would I? I’m only a Mom, Teacher, Assistant,….”

Instead, play the game — what would your life be like if you made $500 an hour? How much would you work? What would you do with that time and money? Hire help? A Chef? A Dog walker?

This can be really fun if you let it.

This is how I play the game. I start with my thinking. First, I think I am worth it and I’ll work hard to get it. Look, no one else can think this for you.

If you can think it, then begin seeing it. @hayleyhobson (Click to Tweet!)

See someone cleaning your house. See someone picking up the kids. Why not? Now feel your time freedom. What are you going to do with all this time freedom? See it.

How are you going to play this game?

If thinking $500/hr is too much (and, honestly, for most that’s a pretty high number), start with $100/hr. Work incrementally watching your mindset shift by growing your $/hr step by step to reach the $500/hr mindset.

Let me ask you this.

Have you heard yourself say this before, “Money doesn’t buy happiness”

Here’s what I have to say about that. Correct! BUT there’s nothing wrong with enjoying what you have worked for, right? Hint: SELF-WORTH. Allowing yourself to make money is huge. My favorite statement is, “I love making money.” I get to support projects I love, contribute to charities important to me and I never have to worry if we can afford it. This is worth it to me.

Here’s what the right Mindset sounds like.

“I’m working toward making $500/hr with the excitement knowing it’s possible!” And to that I say, Rock on!

On average, women make significantly less than this an hour. In fact, we’re still experiencing gender pay gaps. Seriously? I believe it’s up to each of us to blow this statistic out of the water.

See yourself equal, see yourself worthy, see yourself out of debt, in your dream home, your deserved lifestyle and watch miracles happen. You have to see it, feel it – you have to play the game by doing it everyday.

Research also shows women are incredible. We birth babies. We climb mountains. We fight. We love. We build empires and raise good humans. And we do all this before supper hits the table!

So, let me ask you again, What would your life be like if you made $500/hr?
