Google is a cure for uncertainty. At least for your head.

Have you ever typed something in Google, and Google responded, “We don’t know.” How would that be?

If you feel the need to look something up, because you can’t stand the fact that you don’t know something, you ask Google. They will give you answers. That’s their job.

Today, my job is to give you questions and to look for the answers in yourself.

Here are the top 10 of the most important questions you could ask yourself, and that you can’t look up on Google:

  • Who are you really?
  • What is your ultimate purpose?
  • What is your passion?
  • What is your life’s task?
  • What is your why?
  • What is your dream?
  • What is your favorite book?
  • Who are you when you’re dead?
  • Where is your sock that got lost in the dryer?
  • Who were you in your previous life and who will you be in your next life?

Tough questions, especially the one about the sock.

My life will always be uncertain.

I no longer ask, “Why am I doing this?” I have no clear answer. I just act on my impulses and see where they lead me. I don’t expect anything.

I no longer make the decisions. I’ve put that responsibility into the hands of the universe. Otherwise, I would be stuck between these many options.

Yes, that’s right. I don’t know how I will be able to make a living. I don’t know when I will meet the girl of my dreams. And I don’t know in which part of the world I will be living in six months. I am open to everything and attached to nothing.

I have some resistance to accept that. But there is no way around it. And the only way to become comfortable with uncertainty is to trust in my inner guidance.

The way to cure your anxiety that comes with uncertainty is to turn it into excitement.

I followed my heart into a dark cave. There were days when I thought the only way out is to go back where I came from.

Whenever I tried to retreat, I felt miserable. It was worse than just moving forward. I don’t know when I will reach the end of the cave, and I don’t know whether the end will lead me into a new world or just a dead end with the skeletons of my predecessors on the floor.

As long as there is a spark inside my heart, I will continue moving forward into the abyss. I am scared. But I am more afraid of what will happen if I stop.

Dreams that are not nurtured through action die in the daylight. @fabimarkl (Click to Tweet)

I don’t know you, but no matter what your dream is, first make sure it’s really your dream. A dream that comes from inside of you and is aligned with your natural talents and interests.

The world is full of dreamers who dream the dream of someone else. They make very slow progress and feel worse when they get to their dream, because they’ve been lying to themselves and the world. What a waste.

Live your dream. That’s your only obligation in this life after “waking up”.

Not to create a family. Not to create world peace. It’s your dream. Just make sure that your dream serves whole humanity and not just you.

It’s time to step up, my friend. Take the first step into the cave. Trust in your guidance. Stop reading now. Start living your dream.
