Ever since I was a teenager, I have been passionate about health and fitness. This week I wanted to share some of my tips for staying healthy during a time when a lot of people are catching colds that tend to linger for weeks.

I rarely (if ever) get sick which is quite remarkable given the number of planes I am consistently on and large number of people I am exposed to. And if I do start feeling a bug coming on, I know exactly what to do to combat it so I get well STAT!

In today’s vlog, I take you in my kitchen and show you my must-have’s for keeping my immune system at optimal levels.

Everything I talked about in the vlog are products that work for me, I am not endorsing any of them. Please use your intuition and reach out to your health care provider if you have questions or concerns.

Some of the items I mentioned are:

1. Vitamin C powder (not Emergen-C it’s got too much sugar).
2. Vitamineral Green Powder
3. Vegan raw protein powder (avoid soy!). I like this one. You can also buy in individual packets that are great for travel.
4. Oxylent multivitamin drink
5. Gargle with warm sea salt
6. Umcka cold care and Wellness formula. You can get at any health food store (like Whole Foods) and take at the very beginning of a cold or when you are around a lot of people, especially people who are coughing and sneezing!

I order the majority of my supplements through www.iherb.com. Use the discount code HAS727 and get $10 off your first purchase.

And remember LOTS of organic green leafy vegetables and green juice without fruit or anything added to it! Add lemon and ginger if you feel a cold coming on.

Our health is one of our greatest blessings and since gratitude is such a theme this time of year. I encourage you to take self-honoring actions to make your health more of a priority in your life TODAY – do not wait for those New Year’s resolutions! Sure it takes a little extra time and energy but isn’t feeling great worth it? To me, nothing is a priceless as radiant health.

I hope you find these tips useful and supportive. Are there other topics on health and fitness you’d like me to write about?  Please let me know – I love suggestions!!

Blessing of radiant health and well being to you!

Love,

Christine

P.S. I have a new podcast where I coach people LIVE on the air. Head over to Over it and On With It and listen in for inspiration and action steps.

Christine Hassler has broken down the complex and overwhelming experience of recovering from disappointment into a step-by-step treatment plan in her new book Expectation Hangover. This book reveals the formula for how to process disappointment on the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual levels to immediately ease suffering. Instead of wallowing in regret, self-recrimination, or anger, we can see these experiences as catalysts for profound transformation and doorways that open to possibility. You can find more info on her website, and follow her on Twitter and FB.
