Surrounding yourself with positive peeps

It’s just ONE of the many many ways you can consciously create the life you want.

I’m hella grateful to have so many positive women in my life.

They inspire me on the daily, push me to be my best self, encourage me to get shit done and so much more.

After almost a decade of cultivating some pretty stellar relationships in this studying the women who have adopted the Consciously Creating Your Whole You philosophy, I’ve realized we’re all striving to form 10 healthy habits.

Habits that will help us create balance and space for some serious magic to happen in our lives and businesses.

I not only share strategies and ideas that have worked for me in the group…I love listening to what you have to say.

And I love seeing you thrive!

Alright here we go…wanna know what these biz babes have in common?

Time for the 10-habit countdown!

10. Time Blocking

Time is freaking valuable. Especially if you’re a mom like me PLUS a biz coach, health coach, author, podcast host….you get the idea.

Your time is valuable and one of the best habits you can get into is getting organized.

Block off time in your calendar for projects, meetings, social time and self-care. It will help you stay on track!

9. Master your Inner Mean Girl

Like my girl Melissa Ambrosini preaches, tell that negative nancy inner voice of yours to take a hike.

We can be our own worst enemy and getting in the habit of recognizing those nasty thoughts and turning them into positive ones can be life-changing.

Once you realize it’s fear holding you back…you can start living your best life.

8. Take Responsibility

Own your shiz.

Let’s stop playing the blame game, creating excuses and playing the victim.

If it’s one thing that drives me nuts, it’s people not taking responsibility for their actions.

If you mess up, own it and apologize.

It’s also important to take responsibility for your life and biz. This is YOUR life and the only one you got…so again…own it. 🙂

7. Work/Life Balance

I work hard to play hard.

Otherwise, what the heck is it all for?!

I love running my biz. Having the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives fires me up.

But there are other things in my life that come first — like my daughter Madeline, my stepdaughter Makenna and my husband, Wes.

Never mind all my amazing gal pals, colleagues and my stellar team (love you babes!)

I also have hobbies and interests that also make Hayley…Hayley.

So make sure you have balance in your life and to help out with that….see habit #10 about time blocking…. 😉

6. Healthy Livin’

Without health….we got nothing, nada, zip!

So take care of yourself girl.

That means managing stress, eating a nutritious diet, getting enough sleep, making that workout a priority and taking time to rest and relax.

We’re not saving lives here….health is more important than any deadline, project or meeting.

5. Self-Care

Which brings me to self-care…which I know I talk about a lot. But that’s how strongly I feel about it.

And when I say self-care, I’m not saying down a bottle of wine at the end of the day.

Listen to your body. Listen to your heart.

Do something that makes you happy every day — that’s just for you.

Create healthy boundaries in your relationships and your biz.

Meditate.

Hit a punching bag.

4. Challenge Yourself

One of the biggest keys to success is pushing and challenging yourself. That’s how you grow.

Don’t settle for the status quo, go big! Aim high!

Take a course, attend a workshop, network, join my CCWY group, if you’re not already in there…hint hint.

The only way you’re going to grow your business is to keep looking for opportunities that will expand your mind.

3. Get Money Savvy

When you’re starting or growing your biz, you may be doing your own accounting.

Or maybe you’re a little more established and have already outsourced that part of the job out…woohoo!

Either way, it’s important to gain some knowledge about dem dollah bills.

Set financial goals, get solid in what you charge for your product or service…and if you need help, ask for it. Book an appointment with an advisor or ask a colleague for advice.

2. Network

Get out there girlfriend! Stop hiding behind that screen and make some IRL connections! I’m serious! As much as you see me behind the screen, I’m doing the real life thing too.

Attending a conference or a workshop (or even a farmer’s market) can expand your business circle and create opportunities for you to pick up work, get new clients, learn something new and/or have fun!

1. Set Goals

There’s no better habit to pick up than dreaming big and making those dreams a reality.

And when you actually write them down and come up with a plan to accomplish them? Hoooo-eeeee watch out world!

It doesn’t have to be New Years to make some resolutions. Write them down.

This is key, when you put pen to paper, that’s when the magic starts happening.

You can consciously create the life you want.
