I love both Mike Tyson and James Altucher.

Both men speak without filters.

This is code for: genuinely speaking their thoughts and feelings.

We are spirits in meat suits having a human experience. Humans have thoughts and feelings but people tend to be so burdened by the fear of shame that they never share their genuine thoughts and feelings, in private, let alone public.

I have followed James on this blog for years and have watched a series of Mike Tyson interviews over the past three decades. Both men are human. Humans have fear and pain. Both men share fear and pain with the world as much as any human I have seen. Both men also seek improvement, growth and service, expanding through their honesty. Knowing this, many humans burdened by fear, shame and embarrassment project their fear, shame and embarrassment onto both guys with the “These dudes are crazy,” judgment. But I assure you, both men have largely released the most damaging emotion: shame.

Everybody Thought I was Crazy Too

At various times, everybody in my life believed in tiny moments (or for years) that I was crazy, disturbed and “off” during my journey from pier guard to pro blogger. I received nudges from Spirit to express thoughts, feelings and actions guaranteed to remove the leaden, illusory, destructive anchor of shame by being genuine in a public setting.

The craziness they saw in me was fear, shame and embarrassment in them. Crazy people are mirrors, not crazy. We are all gods, so we are all fine.

Aha! I was doing the life thing, right. Every person from enlightened sages to homeless folks to office workers to entrepreneurs to stay at home moms need pay the tuition of facing, feeling and releasing shame to be liberated from fear, to shed embarrassment and to live from a dominant vibe of peace, love and acceptance.

Being liberated from fear and living your dreams requires you to face such deep, destructive fears that most of humanity will label you as being crazy for your bravery. @RyanBiddulph (Click to Tweet!)

Why?

Every person who thinks you are crazy feels this way through their fear prism of shame and embarrassment. 100% of the time, their perception-projection is about them, and has nothing to do with you. Treat these folks with compassion; they do not understand. Simply love them, bless them, and move on from the shame-filled moment.

The thing about James and Mike is their honesty cuts to the core of any genuine person’s heart. We all have similar or identical thoughts and feelings but most fear expressing the energies for fear of…..fear. These two men simply share the 40,000 thoughts we all have daily in a public setting. Shame-free living liberates you from the illusion of fear and the yoke of criticism.

Sometimes, you walk a path no human being will ever understand – save enlightened beings – because Spirit nudges you to do it, for you to be in the world, but not of the world. You learn while walking the path why you needed to walk the path for growth and advancement, even while humanity believes you have mental problems.

Walk the path. Follow your dreams. Genuinely share your thoughts. Be authentic. Every single human being has identical thoughts and feelings to those you express, but fears expressing in a public setting.

Accept this truth. Carry on. Speak your mind, literally. Your filter becomes more discerning as you release fears and evolve into a being of love and compassion.

Until then, let the projectors call you crazy.

Hug them.

Love them.

Carry on as an agent as genuine energy and truth.
